Use “Moraimasu” when you (or someone else) receive something from another person. The subject is the Receiver.

Structure: [Receiver] は [Giver] に [Object] を もらいます。

💡 Raya’s Hack (攻略法)

「に」は「から (From)」！
「もらいます」の文で、くれる人（Giver）の後ろにつく「に (NI)」は、「～から (KARA)」と言い換えることができます。
〇 友達 に もらいました。
〇 友達 から もらいました。
どちらもOK！「に」が分かりにくかったら、「から (FROM)」で覚えよう！

With “Moraimasu”, the particle “NI” marks the Giver. You can also use “KARA” (From). “Tomodachi NI moraimasu” = “Tomodachi KARA moraimasu”. Both are correct!
