Nが 好き / 嫌い (Likes & Dislikes)
Supporting / Adjectives
👀 Layer A: Visual Guide (直感理解)
📝 Quick Summary (まとめ)
自分の好(この)みを伝える表現です。「好き」と「嫌い」は形容詞(けいようし)なので、対象(たいしょう)には「が」を使います。
Use this pattern to express likes and dislikes. Since “Suki” and “Kirai” are adjectives (not verbs), we use the particle “GA” to mark the object.
Structure: [Item] が 好き / 嫌い です。
([Item] ga suki / kirai desu.)
🔍 Layer B: Deepening (深掘り)
💡 Raya’s Hack (攻略法)
「好き」は動詞(どうし)じゃない!
英語の “Like” は動詞だけど、日本語の「好き」は「な形容詞」だよ。
だから否定(ひてい)する時は、「好きじゃない」と言おう。「好きくない」は間違いだよ!
“Suki” is NOT a verb! It is a Na-Adjective. So for negative sentences, say “Suki ja arimasen”. Never say “Suki-kunai”!
🚧 Joy’s Mistake (よくある間違い)
Scene: Joy expresses his hate for peppers.
Joy: 「ピーマン を 嫌いです!」
(Piman o kirai desu!)
❌ Wrong!
Why?
「を (O)」はアクションに使います。「嫌い」は気持ち(形容詞)なので、「が (GA)」を使います。
正解は「ピーマン が 嫌いです」です。
“O” is for actions. “Kirai” is a feeling (adjective). You must use “GA” for feelings. Correct: “Piman GA kirai desu”.
