Use this pattern to describe the specific location of an item or person. “WA” marks the item, and “NI” marks the location.

💡 Raya’s Hack (攻略法)

順番(じゅんばん)が大事！
① 何の話？ (Topic) → WA (は)
② どこ？ (Where) → NI (に)
「猫は 部屋に います。」
逆にすると、「部屋は猫にいます (The room is inside the cat)」になって変だよ！

Order matters! First, say WHAT you are talking about (WA). Then say WHERE it is (NI). Don’t swap them, or the meaning becomes weird!
