「と」は、名詞(めいし)と名詞をしっかり結(むす)ぶ「接着剤(せっちゃくざい)」です。
1. 並列(へいれつ): AとB (A and B) – これで全部(ぜんぶ)！
2. 動作(どうさ)の相手(あいて): 友達(ともだち)と (With a friend)
“TO” acts like a “Plus Sign (+)” connecting Nouns completely. It also means “Together with” a person.
Structure 1: [Noun A] と [Noun B]. (A and B)

「と」は名詞専用(めいしせんよう)のクラブだよ！動詞(どうし)や形容詞(けいようし)は入(はい)れません。「食べる と 寝る」はダメ！名詞だけをつなごう。
“TO” is a Nouns-Only Club! You cannot connect verbs (Eat AND Sleep) or adjectives (Cheap AND Cute) with “TO”. Only Noun + Noun!
🚧 Joy’s Mistake (よくある間違い)
Scene: Joy describing a restaurant.
Joy: 「安い と おいしいです！」
(Yasui to oishii desu!)
❌ Wrong!
Why?
「安い(やすい)」は形容詞(けいようし)です。「と」は使えません。「安くて、おいしい」と言います。
“Yasui” (Cheap) is an adjective. You cannot glue adjectives with “TO”. (The correct way uses “kute” form, which we will learn later).
