「の」は、2つの 名詞(めいし)を つなぐ ノリのような 役割(やくわり)です。「私の本」のように、所有(しょゆう)や 所属(しょぞく)を 表(あらわ)します。
“NO” acts like glue connecting two nouns. It indicates possession (My book) or category (Japanese car).
「の」 (NO) = Possession Marker (Owner’s Tag) / Linker.
Structure = Owner/Category + NO + Item.

英語(えいご)の アポストロフィ「’s」と 同じだよ！「私(わたし)の」は “Me’s” (=My)、「田中(たなか)さんの」は “Tanaka’s” って 考(かんが)えれば カンタン！
It’s the same as the English apostrophe “‘s”! Think of “Watashi no” as “Me’s” (My). It makes it super easy!

❌ Wrong!
Why?
これだと「本の私 (The Book’s Me)」になっちゃうよ！日本語(にほんご)では「持(も)ち主(ぬし)（オーナー）」が先(さき)に来(き)ます。
This means “The Book’s Me”! In Japanese, the “Owner” or “Category” always comes first.
