This program goes beyond textbooks by showing learners how Japanese is used naturally in offices, meetings, and daily work interactions. Through drama-style lessons and guided practice, students gain both language skills and an understanding of workplace etiquette in Japan.

Course Overview

In this course, learners explore realistic Japanese workplace scenarios through story-based lessons inspired by NHK’s Shigoto no Nihongo. Each session highlights a target phrase that students can immediately apply in conversation.

Lessons introduce both formal and polite language, including keigo expressions used in professional settings. The course also provides insights into after-work culture, such as how colleagues interact during social gatherings and informal occasions.

To reinforce learning, every class includes interactive speaking activities such as pair work, role-plays, and group discussions, allowing students to speak Japanese naturally throughout the lesson.
