About Me

Hello there! I am Teacher Pao. I love languages and Japanese culture. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games,reading manga and novels, and karaoke. I especially like Japanese songs and I can recommend some of my favorites that are easy to sing! Speaking from experience, there are many ways to learn Japanese in addition to textbooks, such as through songs, movies, and games, as it really helps keep learning fun and interesting.

My major is Linguistics at the University of the Philippines Diliman. One of my most memorable experiences was during my stay in Japan, where I studied for a semester at the University of Tsukuba. I have taken multiple Japanese classes in both universities, alongside self-study, and have successfully passed JLPT N2 upon returning home. One of my goals is to take N1 in the future as well.

As a student myself, I understand how hard it is to juggle responsibilities while learning a foreign language, so I wish to share my study techniques, as well as exam strategies. I hope that as a teacher, I get to learn new things from you as well!

初めまして！私はパオです。言語と日本の文化について興味があります。暇な時に、ゲームしたり、漫画と小説を読んだりします。音楽が好きなので、よく友達にカラオケを誘います。特に日本の歌が好きで、日本語で習いやすい歌をお勧めできます。日本語だけじゃなくて、いろいろなことについて教えられます！今、フィリピン大学で言語学と日本語を勉強しています。そして、交換留学のために、筑波大学で一学期日本語を勉強しました。日本に行くことは、私の人生の中で最高の経験だと思います。フィリピンに帰って、日本語の勉強に頑張ったので、日本語能力試験のレベル２を合格できました。学生の生活の大変を体験したことあるので、勉強のテックニックを学生たちにシェアしたいです。私も先生として、学生から新しいことを習ったらいいです。よろしくお願いします！
