About Me

Hi! I’m Joy a cheerful and passionate Japanese language teacher who loves making learning fun and easy to understand. I enjoy watching Japanese medical dramas, listening to music, and browsing the internet—these hobbies keep me connected with the language and culture. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Holy Angel University and studied Japanese at Kamei Gakkoen in Osaka and Kaigo Senmon Gakko. I passed the JLPT N3 and gained hands-on experience in Japan as an HR representative for Filipino trainees at SMK Toyama and as a caregiver in a private nursing home in Osaka and Kobe for 5years. I’m a licensed nurse in the Philippines and a certified caregiver in Japan, which helps me especially in teaching Japanese related to healthcare. Even though I’m new to teaching, I understand what it’s like to start learning something new, and I’m here to guide and support you. Let’s learn Japanese together and enjoy the journey!

こんにちは！私はジョイと申します。明るくて情熱的な日本語教師で、楽しくてわかりやすい授業をすることを心がけています。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　日本の医療ドラマを見たり、音楽を聴いたり、インターネットを使って情報を調べたりすることが好きで、そういった趣味を通して日本語や文化に親しんでいます。 私はホーリー・エンジェル大学で看護学の学士号を取得し、大阪の亀井学園と介護専門学校で日本語を学びました。 JLPT N3を取得し、富山のSMKでフィリピン人研修生の人事担当として、また民間の介護施設で介護士として、日本で実際に働いた経験もあります。 フィリピンでは看護師の資格を持ち、日本では介護士の資格を取得していますので、特に医療・介護に関連する日本語の指導には自信があります。 教師としてはまだ初心者ですが、学ぶことの難しさや不安をよく理解しているからこそ、生徒に寄り添ったサポートができると信じています。 一緒に楽しく日本語を学んでいきましょう！ これからよろしくお願いいたします。
