About Me

Hello, everyone! I’m Nyra D. Gray, and I’m excited to be your teacher! I have been an English tutor for 4 years and a Japanese teacher for 3 years, helping students gain confidence in language learning. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Major in English, and I believe that learning a language should be fun, engaging, and practical!I also studied Japanese myself and passed the JLPT N3, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language. In 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to train at the Japan Foundation Urawa Basic Teacher’s Training, where I honed my skills in teaching Japanese more effectively.

Recently, I participated in the 23rd Saitama Nihongo Speech Contest and won Champion, which was a proud moment in my journey as a language learner! This experience has deepened my understanding of Japanese culture and language, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with all of you. 私は4年間英語の講師をしていて、3年間日本語の先生としても働いています。大学では英語教育を学びました。言語を学ぶことは楽しく、役に立つものだと思っています！

私自身も日本語を勉強していて、JLPT N3に合格しました。2024年には国際交流基金 浦和 日本語教師研修に参加し、日本語の教え方をさらに学びました。

また、最近第23回 さいたま日本語スピーチコンテストに出場し、優勝することができました！とてもいい経験になり、日本語や日本文化への理解が深まりました。
