Hi, I’m your tutor Geomine (ジオミネ). Nice to meet you. It’s an honor for me to have the opportunity to teach you my native languageーJapanese(Nihongo).
With over 25 years of experience as a language teacher, I’d like to make learning Nihongo fun and enjoyable by sharing Japanese culture, tourist spots, delicious food, and history with you.

Since I was born and raised in Osaka, I’d also love to introduce you to Kansai culture, which is famous for humor, outstanding food and unique dialect.

Hobbies
・Writing stories in English- I hold a storytelling event once a month. I hope to hold storytelling events in Japanese as well.

・traveling- I love exploring different parts of Japan. My favorite place is the Shimanami-Kaido area, located between Hiroshima and Ehime prefectures.

・cooking- I enjoy cooking Japanese traditional dishes, and trying wonderful restaurants. In our lessons, I’d be happy to introduce you to Japan’s amazing food culture.

私は20年以上英語教師として英会話学校に勤めています。

今回皆様のチューターとして一緒に勉強することになりとても嬉しいです。
長年語学を教えてきた経験を活かし、皆さんと楽しく日本語を学んで行きたいと思います。また日本の文化や観光地、おいしい食べ物、歴史などについてもご紹介しますね。

大阪出身の大阪育ちですので楽しくて、美味しいものがいっぱいの関西文化についてもたくさんシェアしていきますので楽しみにしていてください。

趣味は英語の物語を描くこと。毎月1回自分の作品の朗読会を開いています。将来的には日本語での朗読会も開きたいと思っています。

旅行も大好きです。特に「しまなみ街道」が大好きです。

お料理も得意なので日本の家庭料理についても皆さんとレシピをシェアしたいです。また食いしん坊なので美味しいものを食べに行くことも好きです。日本の外食文化についてもお話しします。
