I am Teacher Darie, your Japanese language and ESL instructor. I graduated from Bicol University with a BA in English and successfully passed the Civil Service-Professional exam. I have four years of experience in teaching, handling, and facilitating workshops through volunteering at a non-government organization while earning my degree. Immediately after graduation, I enrolled in a TESDA-accredited institution called Phil-Nippon Technical College, where I studied the Japanese language for one and a half years. I have experience working in the BPO industry using English and Japanese before living and working in Japan for five years. I hold an N2 level in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and am striving for the N1 level. I also took the TOEIC exam and achieved a score of 925 points. Additionally, I enjoy Japanese dramas and anime. Right now, I am rewatching one of my favorite romantic comedies, 恋はつづくよどこまでも (koi wa tsuzukuyo dokomademo), which starred the renowned Satoh Takeru and Kamishiraishi Mone. I also can’t wait for the final seasons of My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer (鬼滅の刃) this year.
When I was younger, I was deeply passionate about learning and the importance of education, which inspired me to volunteer as a teacher/facilitator with a non-government organization called Children International. There, we conducted programs and led youth groups through engaging activities. This experience taught me patience and the ability to support diverse learners
in understanding complex concepts while creating an enjoyable and encouraging learning environment. During my academic journey, I have honed my communication and critical thinking abilities which are essential for fostering student engagement and creating a dynamic learning atmosphere. To this day, I remain enthusiastic about the opportunity to inspire others through my dedication to learning. I have always wanted to share the knowledge I acquired during my five years in Japan—covering everything from polite conversation and correct usage of words and phrases to practical communication advice that goes beyond what textbooks teach, including real-world interactions.

While it may be challenging at first, I will do my best to support you, so let’s work hard together to learn Japanese and English.
こんにちは！はじめまして。私は、日本語とESLの先生であるダリーです。ビコル大学を卒業し、英語の学士号を取得し、公務員専門職に合格しました。非政府組織でボランティアとしてワークショップの運営、指導、促進に4年間携わってきました。日本に行く前に、フィル・ニッポン・テクニカル・カレッジというTESDA認定専門教育機関で1年半日本語を学びました。英語と日本語の両方を使ってBPO業界で働いた経験があります。5年間日本で技能実習生として働いていました。現在、日本語能力試験のN2レベルであり、N1レベルを目指し勉強を続けています。また、TOEIC試験を受け、925点を獲得しました。 そして、日本のドラマやアニメも大好きです。現在、有名な佐藤健と上白石萌音主演の「恋はつづくよどこまでも」というお気に入りのドラマを見直しています。今年の「僕のヒーローアカデミア」と「鬼滅の刃」の最終シーズンも待ちきれません。
学生時代、学習と教育の価値に深い情熱を抱いていたため、Children International という非政府組織でファシリテーターとしてボランティアをしていました。そこでは、プログラムを企画し、楽しいアクティビティを通じて少年グループを支援しました。この経験により、私は忍耐力と支援的なアプローチを身につけ、さまざまな学習者に活気のある環境、楽しくて前向きな雰囲気を作ることができました。学習を通じて、コミュニケーション能力と批判的思考力を磨きました。私は、日本で働いた 5 年間で学んだこと、つまり丁寧な会話、単語やフレーズの正しい使い方、実際のコミュニケーションなど、教科書には載っていないその他の洞察を、常にシェアしたいと思っています。
