Are JPLT lessons face to face?
The Metaverse Campus where the lessons are held is a virtual space full of reality. The 10-story school building has dozens of classrooms, as well as a park, a lounge, and a seminar room.
You can walk around the campus, study in the classroom, and talk with friends in the square, just like in the real world.
Are the lessons on Zoom? Do I need a special app?
No. We use the state-of-the-art video conferencing system of the Metaverse Campus. You don't need a special app, just click on the URL to enter.

The setup is similar to Zoom or Google Meet, but if you'd prefer not to show your face, you have the option to join the class as an avatar with your camera turned off.
Do I need to reserve a class? How do I join a class?
There is no need to reserve in advance.
The monthly class schedule and classrooms will be published on the timetable.

How many people will attend the class? Are there any entrance restrictions?
We will maintain a comfortable learning environment by screening the number of participants in each class and dividing the class.
How many lessons can you take in a month?
You'll have access to over 100 hours of classes each month, and you can attend as many as you like, whenever it suits you. Both the JLPT course and the daily conversation course offer 24 hours of lessons, with classes available on both weekdays and weekends. You can even retake the same unit multiple times if you need to. Plus, there are free practice courses nearly every day to help you sharpen your skills further.
I don't know how to use it even though you say "freely." Please show me the recommended way to use it.
If your main goal is to pass the JLPT, focus on the JLPT course classes as your foundation. However, it's beneficial to also attend the daily conversation course occasionally to enhance your speaking skills.
If your goal is to enhance your conversation abilities, prioritize the daily conversation course. You can address grammar issues by selectively taking the grammar units from the JLPT course for specific weak points.
Will there be more courses in the future?
We will gradually open higher level classes.
As of October 2024, we have on-going courses which are:
Basic Courses
Are there one-on-one lessons?
As of now, all lessons are conducted as group lessons.
In the future, we will consider offering one-on-one plans separately depending on the students' requests.
Are there only N5 and A1 courses? I would like to take conversation lessons at the N4 level.
The JLPT N4 class and daily conversation A2 course are scheduled to open this fall
Many individuals struggle with conversation skills, regardless of their JLPT qualifications. This is often because they haven't received comprehensive conversation training that effectively applies their knowledge, or they haven't chosen a learning method that emphasizes conversation improvement, like the CEFR syllabus.
Starting afresh with the daily conversation course A1 could be a beneficial approach for re-establishing conversation practice.
Is it possible to take the N5 and A1 courses at the same time from Unit 1?
Yes, it is possible and we recommend it.
By taking the JLPT course with a grammar syllabus and the daily conversation course with a CEFR syllabus at the same time, you can acquire not only knowledge but also the skills to speak correctly.
Are there one-on-one lessons?
Yes, we offer customized plans, including one-on-one classes, small group sessions, and company training.
We can offer special lessons to suit your needs and budget, such as preparation for qualification exams like JLPT, daily conversation, business conversation, or lessons with either Filipino or Japanese teachers. Please contact us her below:

Can I take the same course class multiple times?
You have the flexibility to attend courses on both weekdays and weekends, allowing you to reinforce your weak points multiple times. By taking advantage of this, you can enhance your conversation skills and maximize the benefits of unlimited practice opportunities.
Can I complete the N5 course in one month?
The July 2024 timetable only includes the first third of all N5 classes.
We will add subsequent units in August and September, so if it suits you, you may be able to take all 66 units in one month in September.
Other schools' N5 courses are 100 to 150 hours. Can you pass N5 in 66 hours?
Most schools follow lengthy curricula, often with numerous students and a heavy emphasis on input (learning materials). This setup tends to come with high fees and can lead to a lack of motivation among students, resulting in dropouts.
JLPT's curriculum, however, focuses on teaching the grammar and vocabulary necessary for passing the exam efficiently within a shorter duration.
In contrast, Output offers frequent free courses almost daily. By integrating these courses with other learning resources, Output aims to create an optimal Japanese language learning experience.
If I complete N5, will I be issued a certificate of completion?
JLPT will provide a curriculum completion certificate to students who fulfill two conditions: first, completing 90% or more of the course, and second, submitting the final exam.
Will there be more courses in the future?
We will gradually open higher level classes.
Can I join in the middle of the month?
The start date will be the first month of the month, so you can join at any time.
However, many standard courses starts on the 1st.
Classes typically commence at the beginning of each month, allowing you to join at any time. However, for many standard courses, the start date is specifically set for the 1st of the month.
