About Me

Hello, everyone! I’m Darlene Ann but you can call me ‘Ann Sensei’. I’m a Filipino with a passion in Japanese language, life and culture. I like singing Japanese songs and watching anime.
For more than three years of my teaching experience, I have encountered different kinds of students with different learning styles. And with that, I have learned to become flexible and adapt my teaching strategies to the learner’s needs. I focus on the student’s weaknesses without neglecting their strengths and help them build a stronger foundation in a fun and friendly learning environment.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education and have passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in the Philippines.
I lived and worked in Japan for three years where I also acquired my JLPT Certification of N3 level.
Learning new language is not easy, but if you put your heart to your path, eyes on your goals, and Ann Sensei by your side, you will never be discouraged.

みなさん、こんにちは！私はダーリーン・アンですが、「アン先生」と呼んでください。フィリピン出身で、日本語や日本の生活、文化に情熱を注いでいます。日本の歌を歌ったり、アニメを見たりするのが好きです。3年以上にわたる指導経験の中で、さまざまな学習スタイルを持つ生徒たちと接してきました。その経験を通じて、柔軟に対応し、学習者のニーズに合わせて指導法を調整することを学びました。生徒の強みを無視することなく、弱点に焦点を当て、楽しく親しみやすい学習環境の中で、より強固な基礎を築けるようサポートしています。私は教育学の学士号を取得しており、フィリピンの教員免許試験にも合格しています。
また、3年間日本に住み、そこで働いた経験があり、その間に日本語能力試験（JLPT）N3レベルの資格も取得しました。
新しい言語を学ぶことは簡単ではありませんが、その道に心を注ぎ、目標を見据え、そしてアン先生がそばにいれば、決して諦めることはありません。
